After some concern that the annual Holiday Teddy Bear Auction might not take place, the staff of The Roundup asked the Southern Renegades to join forces with the Gulf Coast Bears and Leather Association. This proved to be the perfect combination! However, this year the traditional teddy bears were mounted on a variety of gift baskets to make the auction a bit more interesting.

Proceeds from the event (more than $1,325) were given to OASIS, an AIDS/H.I.V. service agency in Northwest Florida, and G.E.A.R.S., an organization designed to promote safer sex among younger "at risk" men in the area.

A big S.R. "THANK YOU" to those who bid on the baskets, and those who donated them! We hope to see you again next year!
